This is me, in my new red glasses. The amazing red glasses that allow me to seeeeee! Aren't the colours in the photo super?
And look at what you can do with one little ol' piano photo. Immediately this creates an interesting picture that screams out for words, for a story.
"... she replaced the lid, slowly rose from the chair
and walked to the window. She realised in that moment
that her whole world was about to tilt on its axis ..."
And what about this fabulous effect? I love it!! Would you believe me if I told you I painted it?!!! You would, wouldn't you, because it does look like it was painted (hmmm, perhaps not by me) but no, just a couple of choices on Be Funky and voila!! (Sometimes I think I couldn't speak without exclamation marks!!)
And you can become a part of my very special Funky Monkey Club!!
Trudy
Oh my, you have been having fun haven't you?
ReplyDeleteLove the painted effect and the red glasses look pretty funky too.
Had a play with a funky little monkey myself, but at the moment I am excluded from Blogland as my photo storage thingy is full. So until I can sort that one (groan) I will be absent , boo hoo.
In the mean time I can still monkey around I guess!!
A little cooler here today and cloudy so I think we'll survive this week.Hope it's cooler where you are Trudy......

Great effects!
ReplyDeleteHow have you been since Blogtoberfest, Trudy? I just wanted to let you know that I’m hosting another (albeit gentler and more introspective) blog challenge over the month of December called #reverb12.
Would be so rapt if you joined us!
There’s a little giveaway too. :-)

I think this is going to be a new years resolution, to have a good and try and change some of the photos I pompon my blog! You can change the atmosphere quite dramatically! :)
ReplyDeleteI am going to have a go, as I find it hard to find any regular photos of myself that I like. But who knows, with a little bit of editing ....
ReplyDeleteMe too, I'm going to try this - maybe make some funky monkey Xmas cards!
ReplyDeleteJilly
Looks like fun Trudy, just what I need, something else to eat up time on the computer!! I really like that painted effect, might have to go and have a play myself. Julie :)
ReplyDeleteBe funky is one I haven't had a look at yet, so thanks for the tip! it's very effective. You are definitely a writer Trudy, you could carry on with the story here! Heather x
ReplyDeleteOh its so nice to see you! the glasses look fab :-) and I'm always fiddling round with my pics, just love it! the painting effect is a new one to me, very lovely x
ReplyDeleteLOVE those piano pictures! They are full of stories.
ReplyDeleteI use PicMonkey sometimes but I've not come across Be Funky. I have to limit my use of PicMonkey though as it makes me a lazy photographer and I think, oh, I can crop/fix/tweak that on the computer...bad habits! x
